Quick 10!

#1 Briefly tell us about your business.

I am a Wealth Manager at Wealth Oklahoma in Tulsa, OK. In my role, I especially enjoy working with young professionals and families.

#2 What is the most rewarding part of being in the financial advising industry?

The most rewarding part of being a financial advisor is seeing clients achieve dreams they thought once were out of reach. There’s nothing like seeing faces light up as they share the financial goal accomplished or life milestone reached.

#3 What is the most challenging part?

One of the most challenging aspects is identifying portfolios that truly meet the needs of younger generations. As attitudes toward money have shifted in recent years, it’s essential that our recommendations evolve to reflect the realities and priorities of today’s clients.

#4 Knowing what you know now, what piece of career advice would you give your younger self?

I often come back to the advice of playing the long game. It applies not only to investment decisions, but also to relationships, goals, and personal integrity. Keeping a long-term perspective makes every choice more intentional and impactful.

#5 What’s one way a female has positively influenced your professional or personal growth?

A former manager once reminded me that you can’t pour from an empty cup. Taking a personal day to reset so you can return more present and effective for your clients is far better than showing up emotionally or physically drained.

#6 What unexpected skill, hobby, or practice brings you joy right now?

This year, I’ve started doing a self-care reset on Sunday evenings. Whether it’s tidying up the house or spending an hour unwinding with a face mask, it always puts me in a positive mindset and helps prepare my mind and body for the busy week ahead.

#7 Describe a unique strength or superpower you have that rarely shows up on a résumé.

I am a highly observant person, able to pick up on cues quickly in both professional and social settings.

#8 What’s a daily or weekly ritual you rely on to feel grounded?

I love starting my day with some form of movement—whether that’s a fitness class or a long walk—before the sun rises. Knocking this out first thing makes me feel accomplished, grounded, and ready to take on the day!

#9 What are three of your all-time favorite books?

Multipliers by Liz Wiseman and Greg McKeown
Essentialism by Greg McKeown
The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah

#10 If you could host a themed girls’ night, what would the theme be?

As a lover of fitness classes, I would love to host a private class!
