Financial Advisor, Sullivan & Associates

Quick 10:

#1 Tell us a bit about yourself and your business.

I’m a Financial Advisor with Sullivan & Associates, a Raymond James firm, based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I specialize in helping women build real wealth without giving up the things they love, yes, your latte stays. My focus is simple. Clarity, confidence, and a plan that lets you enjoy today without stressing about tomorrow.

#2 What is the most rewarding part of being in the financial advising industry?

That moment when a woman goes from “I’m not good with money” to “I’ve got this.” Watching confidence replace fear never gets old. It’s powerful, and honestly, a little addictive.

#3 What is the most challenging part?

Getting women to stop putting themselves last. They’ll take care of everyone else first, and their financial life ends up on the back burner. Breaking that pattern is hard, but once it shifts, everything opens up.

#4 Knowing what you know now, what piece of career advice would you give your younger self?

“Progress, not perfection.” Because waiting until everything feels perfect is just another way of staying stuck. Messy action beats no action every time.

#5 What’s one way a female has positively influenced your professional or personal growth?

I’ve been lucky to be surrounded by women who are both strong and supportive. They’ve shown me you can be kind and still hold your ground, and that’s a combination that changes everything.

#6 What unexpected skill, hobby, or practice brings you joy right now?

Lifting weights. There’s something incredibly satisfying about getting stronger, physically and mentally. Plus, let’s be honest, it’s a great stress reliever.

#7 Describe a unique strength or superpower you have that rarely shows up on a résumé.

I can take intimidating, complicated financial stuff and make it feel simple and doable. No jargon, no judgment, no eye-glazing conversations. Just real talk that actually clicks.

#8 What’s a daily or weekly ritual you rely on to feel grounded?

Coffee. Quiet. No one talking to me yet.
It’s my reset button before the world starts asking for things.

#9 What are three of your all-time favorite books?

Atomic Habits by James Clear
You Are a Badass by Jen Sincero
Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder (had the series since I was a kid)

#10 If you could host a themed girls’ night, what would the theme be?

“Coffee, Confidence & Cash.” Think cozy coffeehouse meets real-life money talk with a little wine and a lot of honesty. No judgment, no shame, just women walking out feeling a little more in control of their future.
