Quick 10!
#1 Briefly tell us about your business.
I am a financial planner with Jeter Hrubala Wealth Strategies in Isle of Palms, SC. I am passionate
about financial literacy for women and young professionals, especially helping them find their
financial footing.
#2 What is the most rewarding part of being a financial advisor?
Helping individuals who have no financial education or guidance achieve financial success, clarity,
and confidence!
#3 What is the most challenging part?
Things are always changing! You’re forced to stay up to date on everything—market outlook, policy
changes, etc. However, I also think this is our competitive advantage over AI!
#4 Knowing what you know now, what piece of career advice would you give your younger self?
Everything leads you to the path you’re meant to take. Be curious and pursue your interests.
#5 One idea to further move the needle in attracting, retaining, and/or advancing more women in financial advising?
Showing women early on that wealth management is well-suited to female strengths and can
provide an amazing lifelong career.
#6 What’s one of your superpowers not related to wealth management?
Creating a detailed travel itinerary!
#7 What’s one of your non-negotiable self-care practices?
To always make time for sleep and exercise.
#8 A woman who has had an important impact on your life or career?
I would never be where I am today without the support and inspiration of my mom. Not only did she
continually sacrifice to provide me with the best opportunities and education, but she also taught me
that gender has no impact on your capabilities. As a result, I was never intimidated to enter a male-dominated field.
#9
What are three of your all-time favorite books?
• Girls Just Wanna Have Funds — Anna-Sophie Hartvigsen, Camilla Falkenberg, and Emma Due Bitz
• The Silent Patient — Alex Michaelides
• Verity — Colleen Hoover
#10 If your life were a movie, what would the title be?
“Grace in the Grind” – Balancing discipline with compassion.
